Velnora – Mirissa Debut

Let Mirissa’s tropical coastline become the backdrop to an international electronic music journey connecting Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Velnora, Mirissa Debut is presented as a one-day destination music experience at Ibiza Mirissa, bringing together DJs, immersive stage production and island-inspired festival energy.

The event is organised by Global Underground Sri Lanka. While the exact venue map and full artist lineup are still being rolled out, organisers promise an immersive audio-visual experience that blends island nature with house/techno music.

The event will take place on October 10, 2026. The festival and performances will kick off at 11:00 AM and run onwards. The event is scheduled to be held at Ibiza Mirissa

The event is particularly attractive for travellers exploring Sri Lanka’s South Coast, as it can be combined with Mirissa’s beaches, cafés, coastal viewpoints and nearby whale-watching experiences. The open-air atmosphere offers an opportunity to experience electronic music within one of the island’s most recognised seaside destinations.
