Cultural

Sri Lanka's largest and most anticipated cultural and literary event — the 27th edition of the Colombo International Book Fair runs for 10 days across BMICH's 12 exhibition halls (4,500 sq m, 450 booths). Features 70+ Sri Lankan publishers in Sinhala, Tamil, and English alongside 32 international publishers. Over 1.6 million visitors attended the 2025 edition. Beyond book browsing, the fair hosts author talks, children's activities, publisher launches, and literary discussions. Free or low-cost entry — one of the best value cultural days out in Colombo. Confirmed officially by Sri Lanka Book Publishers' Association and cibf.lk.
