Arjuna Gunarathne | Kaleidoscope of Perceptions

Discover a colourful and deeply reflective exploration of migration, memory and belonging at Kaleidoscope of Perceptions, a solo exhibition by Sri Lankan visual artist Arjuna Gunarathne.

Breaking through the emotional world of alienation, the exhibition presents alternative readings of the immigrant experience. Moving between different emotional states and timelines, the artworks create spaces where lived experiences, personal desires and imagined realities exist together.

Through expressive figures, layered textures and vivid colour, Gunarathne explores loneliness, family, community and the search for belonging in a foreign environment. His work draws from observations of migrant communities in London while combining influences from South Asian mural painting, Mughal miniature traditions and British academic art practices.
