Afro Latin International Festival 2026 – ALIF Sri Lanka
Arts
Feel Colombo move to the rhythms of Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and Afro-Latin dance at ALIF 2026, Sri Lanka’s international Afro-Latin festival at the iconic Galle Face Hotel.
From 25–27 September, dancers from Sri Lanka and overseas come together for three days of workshops, masterclasses, social dancing, performances and competitions. The programme brings international and national artists into one beachfront Colombo venue, giving both experienced dancers and curious visitors an opportunity to experience the country’s growing Latin-dance community.
For international travellers, ALIF combines a dance-festival atmosphere with one of Colombo’s best-known heritage hotel locations. Learn new styles during the day, meet dancers from different countries and enjoy performances and social sessions throughout the festival.
It is an especially strong choice for visitors who want to connect with people while experiencing Colombo through music and movement.
